美国贝勒医学院光学成像和信号/图像处理方面博士后招聘
Job Description
A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Larina in the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at the Baylor College of Medicine to develop functional optical imaging methods toward investigation of reproductive and developmental mechanisms. We are a dynamic highly collaborative team of optical engineers and biologists, investigating biomechanical aspects of biological processes in mouse models of human disorders. Our studies bring together optical system design, OCT, confocal/multiphoton microscopy, optogenetics, technology development in functional optical imaging and data processing (4D angiography, cilia beat mapping, cardiodynamic analysis, elastography), vital fluorescent reporters, genetic mouse models of human disorders, developmental and reproductive biology questions.
The applicant must hold PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Optics, Biomechanics, Biology or related field. Extensive expertise in optical imaging and signal/image processing are essential. The applicant should have extensive training in optics, experience with optical system design, functional measurements (Doppler, angiography, elastography), computational and imaging skills. An experience in the area of optical coherence tomography is highly desired. The candidate should have strong publication record, good communication and writing skills, exceptional work ethics, and great attention to details. Experience working with mouse models is a plus.
To apply, please submit a cover letter (detailing relevant experience and career objectives), curriculum vitae, and names and contact information for three references to:
