西班牙巴塞罗那大学实验粒子物理学博士后职位

The Institute of Cosmos Sciences at the University of Barcelona (ICCUB) invites applications for 1 postdoctoral position in Experimental Particle Physics to join the ICCUB LHCb group. The ICCUB has experienced a major expansion in the last few years and has been awarded the Maria de Maeztu Unit of Research Excellence distinction.



Applicants should have completed a PhD in Physics by the time the contract starts. The successful applicants are expected to join the ICCUB at most by the end of 2016, and will be encouraged to collaborate broadly with our faculty, other postdocs, and students.



Candidates with interest and/or experience in :



Experimental particle physics

Data Analysis

CP Violation in b-Hadrons

Radiative decays of b-Hadrons

The ICCUB currently participates in the LHCb experiment at CERN and contributes to its future upgrade.



The position is for two years and it is renewable for a third one subject to funding availability. The gross annual salary will be approximately €32000, and it includes full family health insurance benefits. Reasonable travel funding will be available.
