A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Hyun-Soon Chong focused on development of cancer drugs funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH), USA. The postdoctoral candidate selected for this position will work on interdisciplinary research projects for development of cancer therapeutic and imaging drugs.
A Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry, Nanomedicine, or Biochemistry-related field is required. The successful candidate is expected to have extensive experience in cell culture and cell viability and receptor binding assays using cancer cells and strong technical background in cell biology and biochemistry.
Research experience in the following areas is a plus: Conjugation chemistry of nanomaterial, antibody, and peptides; Radiolabeling with F-18 and radiolanthanides and radioactinides; Biodistribution and therapeutic efficacy and optical imaging studies for drug targeting using mice.
