Job Description
A postdoctoral fellow position is available at Stanford University School of Medicine. Current projects in the lab are to use in vitro biological approaches and genetically-engineered mouse models to uncover and understand transcriptional control and cell signaling in tumorigenesis. We use unbiased approaches to uncover gene-expression and genomic and epigenetic alterations that occur during cancer development and progression. Candidates should have a recent Ph.D or M.D/Ph.D degree in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, or a related field. Candidates should have a proven track record of creativity and productivity. They should be highly self-motivated, strong desire to learn, and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience with mouse models of human diseases, cancer biology, molecular biology, or genetics is highly desired, but not required. Position could start May 1st, 2015 or later.
