A postdoctoral research fellowship is available immediately in the Department of Interventional Radiology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. The fellow will participate in a highly productive multi-disciplinary research program exploring mass spectrometry imaging analysis of image-guided interventions, tumor metabolism, and drug delivery in cancer. The lab is particularly interested in studying drug and metabolite distributions after arterial interventions such as drug-eluting bead embolization, in-situ thermochemistry, and developing new techniques in studying oncometabolic plasticity. The fellow will have an opportunity to contribute to ongoing basic and translational research and will be encouraged to explore and develop new areas of research interest.
