PhD student in immunogenetics
You perform wet lab experiments in preparation of immunosequencing experiments. You optimize and validate a highly innovative, next generation sequencing based method for T cell and RNA sequencing. You analyze the resulting data in close collaboration with a dedicated bio-informatician and domain experts to interpret your findings and improve your workflow. You collaborate with researchers in different disciplines (from computational sciences to clinicians) within a large immunosequencing consortium.
Your Profile:
- Master in biomedical sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, biology or bio-engineering, with outstanding study results.
- A good knowledge of next generation sequencing techniques, including data analysis, is an important asset.
- Previous experience with or background in the field of immunology is a bonus.
- You are fluent in interdisciplinary English communication, quality-oriented and creative, and eager to emerge in new scientific disciplines.

- A doctoral student research position for a period of four years, in case of positive evaluation after the first year, starting from March 1st, 2015 (or August 1st if needed).
