The Labex IGO (http://www.labex-igo.com) gathers immunologists in transplantation and oncology but also specialists of oncogenesis and nuclear oncology divided among 16 scientific teams. Labex IGO aims to develop new immunotherapies in oncology and transplantation by:
- Identifying new targets and accelerating preclinical evidences of efficacy
- Improving cellular immunotherapies efficacy
- Developing immune-depletive and modulatory strategies.
To achieve the project aim, three workpackages (WP) carry out specific tasks. The post-doc project is part of WP2: Innovative cellular immunotherapies.
Presentation of the research team and scientific project:
Our Research team “Nuclear Oncology Research” is studying the development of targeted radionuclide therapy, and more specifically of radioimmunotherapy, to treat disseminated cancers.
A post-doctoral position is available in our team with two aims:
– Investigating the impact of ionizing radiation on T-celI activation and migration in tumor sites.
– Developing a strategy to follow the fate of T cells after ACT using non-invasive cell tracking methods.
The position is for two years. Applications will be evaluated as they are received until the position is filled. Early application is recommended.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. with research training and must possess a strong publication record, with a strong experience in cell biology, radiobiology and mouse in vivo work.
The candidate should be able to develop experimental plans independently, to work efficiently in a team, to have excellent relational abilities and, finally to write and communicate fluently in English.
