A two-year postdoctoral research position (TV-L E13) with moderate teaching responsibilities is available from February 1, 2015 at
Eberhard Karls University Tübingen, Interfaculty Institute of Cell Biology (IFIZ), Department of Molecular Biology, Tübingen, Germany.
The research project focuses on novel signaling pathways that regulate autophagy and longevity and is directed by PD Dr. Tassula Proikas-Cezanne. The candidate should have a recent PhD and strong expertise in using the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans for cytological, genetic and biochemical studies. Experience with imaging techniques, in particular live-cell fluorescence microscopy, is desirable.
