Neuroscientist – Vacancy Reference ACAD101027
Research Assistant grade I: £31,342 – £35,256 per annum
Post is available immediately with a fixed term contract for 1 year (in the first instance).
Two postdoctoral research assistants are required to work with Dr Patrick Case to investigate how psychological disorders and leukaemia in children may be caused by adverse exposures during foetal life. The neuroscientist should be experienced in fluorescence/confocal immunohistochemistry of the brain and will learn to apply CLARITY to follow developmental changes in parvalbumin neurones. The Biochemist or Molecular Biologist or Leukaemia Biologist should be experienced in analytical techniques possibly with an interest in miRNA.
