Post-doctoral positions available immediately for candidates interested in studying mechanisms of cell death of normal tissue stem cells (small and large intestines, mammary gland, and pancreas) and cancer stem cells derived from these tissues. Pre-clinical basic science studies are coordinated with strong clinical collaborative team for real-time translation. Emphasis of clinical studies is to improve response of tumor to therapy by engaging a newly-discovered vascular dysfunction-mediated mechanism of tumor stem cell death.
