Postdoctoral Research Associate in Magnetised Complex Plasmas

£31,664 – £36,661 pa

We are seeking to recruit an individual to join the Technological Plasma Group and work in the area of magnetized complex (dusty) plasmas. The role will involve experiments on magnetized complex plasma phenomena both at Liverpool and at the DIFFER Institute (The Netherlands), the development of advanced plasma diagnostics and collaboration with dust transport code developers at both Imperial College and the University of York. You should have a PhD in the Physical Sciences and relevant research experience in experimental Plasma Physics. Proven laboratory experience with complex plasmas, magnetized plasmas or optical plasma diagnostics would be advantageous. The post is available for 3 years.
