A one year postdoc position is available in the Polymer – Soft Matter group at the Department of Physics of the Université Libre de Bruxelles to investigate thin film phases in semiconducting liquid crystals. The molecular organisation and interfacial structure in thin films of novel, organic semiconducting material will be investigated mainly with x-ray (both in-house and at international facilities).
The post is for a highly motivated PhD (or equivalent) young physicist, physical chemist, material scientist.

Duration: the position is for one year (possible starting date 1st October 2014)
