The aim of the postdoc position is to delineate the regulation and functions of the components of type VI secretion system (T6SS) of Francisella tularensis and Vibrio cholerae. This will be achieved by studies of specific mutants and tagged T6SS components and by a variety of techniques, e.g., microinjection, ectopic expression, and 2-hybrid techniques, detection of their secretion, localization, and interaction with host factors.
