One biocomputational postdoctoral position is available immediately in Dr. Giannakakou’s laboratory at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University, in New York, NY.
This position is focused on prostate cancer research and will involve the analysis and interpretation of large datasets including RNA-seq and target enrichment sequence data. Expertise in bioinformatic data processing (RNAseq) and data mining with previous research experience is required. Prior experience in setting up and maintaining large databases (i.e., next generation sequence data) and knowledge of current data analyses programs is desired. The project is translational in nature and will allow for a broad network of interactions with computational, clinical and basic researchers here at Weill Cornell and at other institutions.
