英国牛津大学生物化学博士后职位

We are seeking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Associate who is committed, enthusiastic and enjoys addressing pioneering questions at the interface of cell cycle, DNA repair, transcription and genome integrity control, as a key member of the active research group of Dr Fumiko Esashi. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust, and is fixed-term up to 2 years in the first instance. The project concerns the essential functions of the Rad51 recombinase and its regulators (BRCA2 and PALB2) in proliferating human cells; unique and powerful reagents generated in the group will be exploited to achieve the objective. We particularly welcome applications from those who are capable of performing biochemical analysis of protein-DNA interactions. The postholder is expected to further implement comprehensive bioinformatic analysis, and to assess hypotheses experimentally using a variety of cutting edge techniques including, but not limited to, molecular and cellular biology, and bioimaging, in a creative and insightful manner. Previous experience in a relevant research area will be an advantage. Applicants will have a relevant PhD/DPhil and experience in biochemistry. You will have publication(s) in internationally recognised journal(s); experience in presenting scientific work orally at international conferences; recognition of scientific excellence (e.g. prizes, awards, fellowships); proven skills in planning and performing experimental bench-work; proven skills in contributing ideas for new research projects; excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as a part of an interactive group.
