The Genetic Engineering Technologies group of the Jackson Laboratory is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team of scientists serving the role of a Study Director. The focus of our group is genome editing, a powerful approach that could be employed to establish the causal relationship between genotype and phenotype and to create human diseases in model organisms for the testing of therapeutics strategies. With the advent of the genome editing nuclease technologies, including zinc finger nuclease, TALEN and CRISPR, it is now possible to edit the genome with a timeline and at a level of sophistication that are unprecedented.
