A postdoctoral position is available to study mechanisms of breast cancer metastasis in the laboratory of Dr. Chonghui Cheng (Journal of Clinical Investigation (2011) 121:1064-74, Genes & Development (2014) 28:1191-1203). This study, funded by NIH grants, is aimed to elucidate signaling pathways that control breast cancer metastasis. We are especially interested in the mechanisms that are regulated at the RNA level. Successful applicants are required to have strong interest in cancer and/or RNA biology, excellent experimental expertise in mouse models of cancer and/or molecular and cell biology, and should be highly motivated and career-oriented.
