Post-doctoral Research Fellow

This post is available for a fixed term of 6 months with the possibility of extension dependent on funding.
The major role will be to dissect the molecular pathways underpinning the pathology of Scleroderma with the aim to identify therapeutic targets for future intervention development.
The post is key to the success of research projects in various areas of connective tissue disease, focusing particularly on Scleroderma. Responsible to Dr Del Galdo, you will continue and develop research in identifying therapeutic targets suitable of intervention and studying the molecular pathways underpinning connective tissue diseases. Research qualified, early post PhD, with publication track record in the immunologic aspects of Scleroderma, you will be a highly motivated team player with highly effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to conduct high quality basic research and deliver outcomes to challenging deadlines

University Grade 7 (£30,728 – £36,661) depending on qualifications and experience
