A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Yue Sun, PhD at the VCU Philips Institute for Oral Health Research/NCI Designated Massey Cancer Center at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) to study signaling transduction pathways in cancer progression and metastasis.

Research in the lab focuses on the control of growth factor receptors signaling and phosphoinositide signaling in cancer progression and the development of novel anti-cancer therapeutics. The work will involve cell culture, biochemical characterization, functional assays and a mouse xenograft animal model.

We are seeking highly motivated applicants with substantial experience in molecular biology, cell biology and biochemistry. Prior experience in mouse xenograft model is a plus but not required. The candidate is expected to play an active and collaborative role in the lab and the Institute.
