A 2-year postdoctoral position in the field of Computational Biophysics is available in the group of Dr Andrei Pisliakov at the University of Dundee, UK. The successful candidate will use molecular simulation methods (MD, QM/MM, EVB) to study the functioning mechanisms of membrane proteins. The specific project is focused on multi-scale modelling of proton and ion pumps, and particularly on the proton translocation processes and energy coupling mechanisms in these biomolecular machines. The position will be situated in the Division of Computational Biology in the new Centre for Translational and Interdisciplinary Research.
