Job Description

The mission of the

Kenney lab at the University of Wisconsin is to understand how the human gamma herpesvirus, Epstein-Barr virus, causes B cell and epithelial cancers. Two postdoctoral positions are available. One position is to dissect how EBV contributes to various different human lymphomas, using a variety of different cutting edge techniques and models, including humanized mouse models. The other position will investigate how EBV contributes to epithelial cell tumors such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma. These positions are funded by two new NIH grants. The University of Wisconsin has a large community of well known virologists, including two other EBV laboratories with whom we collaborate extensively, including joint laboratory meetings.
