　　Job Description

　　A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the Institute for NanoBioTechnology (INBT) and Translational Tissue Engineering Center (TTEC) at Johns Hopkins University in the research groups of Drs. Hai-Quan Mao and Sashank Reddy with joint laboratories in both Whiting School of Engineering (INBT Lab) and School of Medicine (TTEC Lab). A successful candidate will lead the laboratory’s efforts in regenerative cell therapy and engineering, focusing on developing nanomaterials to direct stem cell fate and promote functional tissue regeneration. The laboratory’s expertise in materials science, chemical engineering, stem cell biology, and medicine is complemented by the collaborative environment at INBT and TTEC. The laboratory also works with Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures and Johns Hopkins Hospital to maximize the impact of basic discoveries through novel regenerative solutions for patients. 　　Ideal candidates should have a recent Ph.D. degree in biomaterials, biomedical engineering, polymer chemistry, chemical engineering, or stem cell biology, with excellent leadership and oral and written communication skills. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with qualifications and experience similar to the recommended scales by the National Institutes of Health.
