摘要:

Applications are invited to recruit an enthusiastic post-doctoral scientist to work in the group of Dr James Nathan. We employ an integrated approach, using biochemistry, cell biology, and CRISPR genetic screens, to understand how protein degradation is regulated by the ubiquitin proteasome system and its relevance to human disease.

Candidates must have experience in molecular and cell biology, and must have a PhD in the biological, biochemical or biomedical sciences. Relevant post-doctoral experience is desirable and a background in ubiquitination and proteasome function would be beneficial.

Applicants will be expected to work closely and interactively with colleagues in different disciplines, to have good communications skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

The funds for this position are available for 3 years in the first instance.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
