Postdoctoral Researcher (NUS - Physics) : Singapore, Singapore

We are seeking several motivated post-doctoral scientists to lead multiple research projects aimed at exploring the dynamics of nanoscale chemical and physical processes (nanomaterial growth, self-assembly and etc.) using cutting edge in-situ (liquid and gas phase) transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. 

These projects will be housed in the Center for BioImaging Sciences (CBIS)  and the Center for Advanced 2D Materials (CA2DM) at NUS. CBIS hosts a state-of-the-art EM facility containing T12, JEOL2200FS, JEOL 2010, and Titan (equipped with K2IS camera) TEMs. CBIS hosts a fully-equipped cleanroom where most of the relevant device fabrications will be done.
A successful applicant must have a Ph.D. in physics (preferred), materials sciences or related disciplines, with a proven ability for outstanding research that is reflected in applicant's publication record.

Extensive experience in a subset of the following areas is required: Transmission Electron Microscopy, Micro- and nano-fabrication, material synthesis, nanowire growth, nanoparticle self-assembly, inorganic chemistry, programming in MATLAB, and/or image processing.
