Postdoctoral and Research Technician position funded by NIH grant is immediately available to study genome maintenance pathways. The laboratory is interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms of DNA damage and repair, and delineating diverse roles played by specific DNA repair proteins. Ongoing projects involve cell based assays, proteomic approach for protein-protein interactions, gene expression analysis, genomic approaches for DNA-protein interactions, and in vitro biochemical assays using recombinant proteins. Candidates who have PhD and strong backgrounds in biochemistry, molecular and cell biology are encouraged to apply. Individual with experience in protein expression, purification and in vitro characterization is preferred.
