Several open positions are available for motivated postdoctoral scientists at the Center for Systems and Computational Biology in Rutgers Cancer Institute, Rutgers University. The research at the Center focuses on cancer genomics and translational medicine, particularly developing novel quantitative and experimental approaches to discover disease-driving aberrations, understand cancer pathogenesis, improve diagnosis, and design effective clinical trials and precise treatment strategies for patients under active care.

We are located at Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus, and collaborate extensively with scientists and physicians at Rutgers and other institutions in the New York metropolitan area, including the Institute for Advance Study (Princeton) and Columbia University.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. or an M.D. with a background in quantitative sciences (physics, mathematics, computer science, computational biology, bioinformatics, or engineering), and have proficiency in programming and statistical analysis with demonstrated experience in problem solving. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential; knowledge of biology and genomics is not required, but highly valued.
