Postdoctoral positions are available now. The research projects include: 1) inducing the differentiation of embryonic stem cells or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) into thymic epithelial progenitors (TEPs) or hematopoietic stem cells (Stem cells. 27:3012, 2009; Blood. 118:3410, 2011; Journal of Clinical Investigation. 122:3552, 2012; Scientific Reports. 5: 9882, 2015); 2) preventing or treating autoimmune diseases by iPSC-derived TEPs expressing autoantigens (J Autoimmun. 58:36-47, 2015); 3) improving T cell regeneration after bone marrow transplantation (Journal of Immunology, 186: 1915, 2011; Transplantation. 92:516, 2011; Immunology. 144:245-253, 2015); 4) enhancing antitumor immunity (Cancer Research. 71:61-67, 2011). Candidates should have PhD, MD/PhD, or MD. A strong background in Cellular & Molecular Biology and previous research experience or training in stem cell biology and/or immunology, and mouse models is preferred.
