Postdoctoral Research Fellow : Boston, MA, United States
We are seeking a highly motivated and independent postdoctoral fellow to explore protein lipidation, and autoacylation in regulation of cellular signaling pathways, transcription, and translation using chemical biology and functional genomics tools. We aim to develop small molecule modulators of cellular processes and identify new therapeutic targets for drug discovery. Projects will involve development of high throughput screens, protein biochemistry, enzymology and chemical biology/molecular mechanistic studies of signaling in vitro and in vivo. A qualified candidate should have strong communication skills, be self-motivated, detail oriented, and can work independently in a collaborative setting and have strong knowledge and experiences of stem cell or cancer biology, molecular and cell biology, protein biochemistry and/or animal models. The successful candidates should have a good publication record with a recent Ph.D. in cell/molecular biology, biochemistry and/or chemical biology.
