About the role

• Fixed Term for 12 months with prospects for renewal
• Full time (35 hours per week)

The Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing, located within the School of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join their team as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. This position will see the successful candidate facilitate the coordination of international consortia and undertake the management and analysis of data in relation to these consortia as part of the Big Data Program of CheBA. The main focus of the work will be on approximately 20 international studies of post-stroke cognitive decline, involving collaborators from around the world.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

• Postgraduate degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, bioinformatics, psychology, or other related discipline with previous research experience;
• Demonstrated competence in high level data analysis in biomedical or social science research, including data from diverse longitudinal studies; and
• Demonstrated competence in writing research papers, research proposals, and other scientific communications.
