The Department of Physiology and the Program in Biological Sciences at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) invite applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Outstanding candidates interested in biochemical and cellular aspects of physiology, including but not limited to lipid signaling, cell metabolism, and membrane biology, are encouraged to apply. Applicants must hold a PhD or MD and have postdoctoral training.

The Department of Physiology at UCSF is the home to world-renowned laboratories working in the fields of membrane physiology, cell biology, neuroscience, and metabolism. The new Mission Bay campus of UCSFoffers a vibrant atmosphere for collaboration between various basic science and clinical departments, as well as state-of-the-art research facilities. The successful applicant will be expected to establish an exciting research program and participate in graduate and postdoctoral training.
