英国帝国理工学院招聘白血病生物学方向博士后研究员

We are seeking a Research Associate with an interest in leukaemia biology and in particular, DNA damage and its repair in normal and malignant B lymphocytes. The post holder will join a team of scientists with a focus on the analysis of DNA damage during induction and progression of leukaemia.  

The successful candidate will need to perform basic methods of molecular biology including viral transduction, cell culture, Western blot and qPCR, and further analyse cells by deep sequencing using ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq and Exome sequencing. Functional studies will include experimental models and work with patient derived leukaemia samples and the investigation into mechanisms of genome maintenance in B lymphocytes using experimental models. The post holder will be expected to help co-ordinate the multidisciplinary effort on this project and work towards developing an independent programme of research.

Applicants must demonstrate they meet the essential requirements of the post, and in particular, hold a PhD or equivalent qualification in a science related or allied field. It is essential that applicants are knowledgeable in leukemia biology, DNA damage and its repair, immunology, and haematopoietic malignancies. Applicants must possess practical experience in a broad range of techniques and a sound knowledge of or experience with different computer programs used for data analysis /processing e.g. Excel, PRISM, FlowJo, Snapgene/MacVector .
