Minimum Qualifications
PhD, MD or DVM and 0 to 3 years of related experience are required. The university offers market competitive salary and benefits. Grade EC
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in area of project specialization, knowledge of modern research practices, methods, resources, and standards thereof. Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities. Ability to integrate resources, policies, and information for the determination of procedures, solutions, and other outcomes. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with other employees and the public. Ability to plan and allocate the workload of employees, providing direct training and supervision as needed. Experience in cancer biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or physiology preferred.
Position Description
The preferred candidate will perform specialized post-doctoral work in planning, conducting research, presenting results at National and International meetings, and publishing those results in peer review journals. Responsible for assisting the PI to obtain extramural funding. 
May be responsible for cell culture work, molecular biology work, including Western blot, Northern blot, cloning the plasmids, Real time PCR, invasion/migration assays; and should be familiar with different route of injections, dissecting the animals and preparation of mice tissues for histological and immunocytochemical analysis, and digital imaging of tissues; perform survival surgeries on rats and mice and keep accurate records.
Work is performed under supervision of graduate faculty members with evaluation bases on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. May supervise research and student assistants. Please send a CV, cover letter and 3 reference letters.
