Postdoctoral Position - Postdoctoral Fellow : Memphis, TN, United States

Description: The faculty mentor for this position will be Dr.WEI LI. A postdoctoral fellow position is available immediately in Dr. Wei Li''s lab (College of Pharmacy, University of Tennessee Health Science Center) for a highly motivated individual with strong background in organic synthesis or medicinal chemistry. The successful candidate will work on the design and synthesis of new small molecules as potential therapeutic agents. Salary is competitive and includes health benefits. The position is available immediately. The contract will be renewable annually if continued funding is available and upon satisfactory performance and mutual agreements, up to three years. Qualifications: The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or a closely related field and should have a minimum of two first-author publications.

Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and based on the prevailing wage for postdoctoral research trainees set by the U.S. Department of Labor.
