Four to five postdoctoral/Ph.D-level research positions are available at Lehigh University in the Department of Biological Sciences spanning a range of disciplines including evolution, molecular biology, developmental biology, and neuroscience. The Department of Biological Sciences has hired five new assistant professors in the last four years with future hires planned. Keeping pace with this growth, we seek to expand the number of postdoctoral scholars in the department.

Lehigh University is a highly ranked academic and research environment located in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, an hour north of Philadelphia and an hour-and-a-half west of New York City. The Lehigh Valley encompasses three metropolitan areas (Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton) each offering a variety of cultural and outdoor activities.

Positions will run for at least two years, with opportunities to extend each position depending on funding availability. Salaries will be based on the NIH scale.
