A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Dr. Gareth Howell to study the role of neuroinflammation in aging and age-related neurodegenerative disorders. Dr. Howell’s lab uses genetic and genomic approaches using mouse models to better understand particularly the early stages of these diseases as this provides the greatest opportunity for therapeutic intervention. A particular focus is on understanding the role of the complement cascade in aging, glaucoma and Alzheimer’s disease.
