These positions provide exciting opportunities for highly motivated researchers to develop their research track record in acute stroke as part of the Nursing Research Institute (NRI). The NRI is a joint initiative between St Vincent's Health Australia, Sydney and ACU that undertakes clinically focussed, patient outcome-orientated multidisciplinary research.

As a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, you join the team led by Professor Sandy Middleton and international collaborators to develop and support the innovative stroke research program. Centred around quality of stroke care in Australia, there are a designated suite of projects available, with support provided to develop research proposals in a number of these stroke care areas.

You are required to have a demonstrated high-quality competitive publication track record with a capacity to make a significant contribution to ACU's research profile. PhD qualifications in a health related discipline is essential.

Opportunities exist for funded international travel. Local and international candidates are encouraged to apply.

Total remuneration valued to $101,440 - $119,702 pa, including salary component $85,718 - $101,206 pa (Academic Classification Level B), OR $126,951 - $137,827 pa, including salary component $107,402 - $116,697 pa (Academic Classification Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. The level of appointment will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
