The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £32,699 – £36,424 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

We are seeking a post-doctoral research associate to work on developing surgical vision techniques to advance real-time information processing of Cherenkov Luminescence imaging. The images will be provided by a custom device produced by Lightpoint Medical and we expect close collaboration with the industrial partner. The successful candidate will develop techniques which can be applied to the challenging data to perform image deblurring, tracking and registration. The project is focused on producing a clinically applicable device and supporting computational methods. It will lead to a clinical trial in prostate cancer treatment and further opportunities in biophotonic imaging, advanced visualization and efficient computational processing.
