加拿大博士后申请流程是怎么样?

　　加拿大博士后的申请程序非常复杂，有很多的资料需要准备，当然，如果能过顺利申请到加拿大的博士后签证，不仅对找工作十分的有利，更多的是，很多人通过博士后签证获取了移民的资格。

　　加拿大博士后申请

　　加拿大于1949年开始招收第一位博士后研究人员，是由国家科学研究理事会(NRC)招录并在它自己的实验室里从事博士后研究工作。当时提出博士后计划的主要目的，是引进世界各地优秀科研人才，加强NRC的研究工作。博士后计划在NRC实行后，很快在大学里也开始实行，大学的博士后经费亦由NRC拨给。这样，博士后计划的目的从仅仅为加强NRC的研究工作转变为同时为了提高大学的教学水平和研究能力。与此同时，博士后研究人员从引进国外高级研究人员为主转变为录用加拿大本国的博士为主。在加拿大，对博士

　　后研究没有明文正式法规，有些人认为还没有形成一种制度。但也有人认为，这个事物已经得到政府部门，高等学校和研究单位的承认，并普遍在实行着，又形成了—套大同小异的习惯做法，可以称为是一种制度。 在加拿大的不同单位里，虽然对博士后研究人员的解释是不同的，但有一点是相同的，即从事博士后研究的人都必须获得博士学位。—般来讲，博士后研究人员有年龄和工作期限的限制，而助理教授和研究助理没有年龄和工作年限的限制。 1978年以后，由于博士后的待遇低(2.3万加元/人年)，时间短(27个月)，完不成工程研究项目，缺乏吸引力，因此，NRC取消了博士后计划，改为副研究员制度，或称政府科研机构的访问学者制度。这些人属NRC的雇员，但不是永久式职工，比博士后要高，工作期限为二年，期满还可延长一年，但最长不超过五年。这种办法很有吸引力，每年招录50人，却有一千多人申请。 NRC取消博士后研究计划后，就不再向各大学拨博士后经费。目前大学的博士后经费主要来自：(1)加拿大自然科学与工程技术研究理事会(NSERC);(2)加拿大医学研究理事会(SSHRC);(3)社会科学与人文科学研究理事会(HRC)。 以NSERC为例，博士后研究人员可由两种渠道获得资助。一是由博士后直接向NSERC申请，每年获准者约有200人。他们可以到任何单位(包括国外的)去从事博士后研究工作。二是由教授向NSERC申请研究项目资助金，其中包括录用博士后的费用。被录用的博士后要在教授的实验室里从事该项目的研究工作。直接向NSERC申请奖学金的博士后，工作期限为一年，但期满后可续一年，总计也是两年。

　　Completed “Application for a Work Permit” (IMM 1295). If the applicant’s spouse or common-law partner and/or children are planning to accompany the applicant, they will need to complete their own application using the appropriate application form.

　　填写完整的“工作许可申请表” (IMM 1295)。如果申请人的配偶或普通法伴侣、及/或子女计划与之同行，他们也需使用正确的申请表格填写完整其各自的申请信息。

　　Completed “Family Composition Information and Details of Education and Employment” form for the applicant, completed in English or French AND Chinese.

　　申请人完整填写“家属表和教育及就业细节表”，请使用中英文或中法文填写。

　　Two (2) identical photos, colour or black and white taken against a plain white or light coloured background within the last 6 months. The frame size is 35mm X 45mm. On the back of one photo in each set, write the name in pinyin and date of birth (day/month/year) of the person appearing in the photo.

　　申请人需递交两张相同的在最近六个月内拍摄的彩色或黑白照片，背景为纯白色或浅色。相片外框大小为35毫米X 45毫米。每张照片后面以拼音注明此人的姓名及出生日期（日/月/年）。

　　A valid passport. There must be one completely blank page other than the last page, available in the passport and the passport must be valid for at least six (6) months prior to travel

　　本人有效护照。护照须包含除最后一页外的至少一整页空白页、且必须在行程前至少六个月内有效。

　　Two (2) self-addressed adhesive labels with applicant’s current address in Chinese characters (no envelope).

　　两份用中文写有申请人现行住址的粘性贴纸 (无需信封)。

　　The correct application processing fee paid in cash. Fee is non-refundable.

　　以现金支付正确的申请受理费。受理费不予退还。

　　“Use of a Representative” form (IMM5476E) if someone has assisted you in making this application.

　　如有第三方人士帮助你准备此次申请，请填写代理人信息表（IMM5476E）。

　　A notarized copy of applicant’s No Criminal Activity Certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

　　无犯罪记录证明的公证件。申请人年满18 岁后，若在中国以外某国家或地区曾连续居住六个月或以上、均必须从此国/地区获取警方无犯罪记录证明。

　　A copy of the employment contract signed by the applicant and the employer in Canada OR an original letter of offer with a detailed description of expected duties and length of employment.

　　申请人和加方雇主签署的雇佣合同副本，或一份包含未来工作职责详述及雇佣期限的工作机会函原件。

　　The Labour Market Opinion provided by HRSDC OR Documentation explaining that applicant is applying to a Labour Market Opinion exempt occupation, specifying which exemption applicant  is applying under OR an occupation that permits him/her to apply concurrently for a Labour market Opinion and a Work Permit.

　　加拿大人力资源和社会发展部提供的劳务市场意见，或说明因何种情况免劳务市场意见正在申请之中的文件，或说明此职业允许劳务市场意见和工作许可同时进行申请的文件。

　　11.

　　An original letter of employment from applicant’s current employer in China granting leave of absence, and including the following information: applicant’s name, position and current salary. This letter must include employer’s name and address in Chinese characters as well as telephone and fax number.

　　在中国的现任雇主出具的准假雇佣信原件，并包括以下信息：申请人的姓名、职务和目前收入。此信必须包含用中文注明的雇主全称、地址，以及电话和传真号码。

　　12.

　　All original occupational and professional certificates (e.g. Occupational Qualification Certificate), if relevant to employment in Canada.

　　If working in Québec, evidence of a valid Certificat d’acceptation du Québec (CAQ).

　　* brief description of research to be undertaken in Canada; * the goals of research and its relationship to applicant’s academic pursuits in China; * how applicant was chosen;

　　If applicant is receiving any funding from a school in Canada or other organization, provide the original letter containing details of the funding the applicant is to receive during each year of proposed course of study+ one (1) copy. 如果申请人接受某加拿大学校或其它组织的资助，请提供详细说明申请人在预期学习期间每一年将获得资助的信函原件及一份副本。

　　A notarized copy of any college diploma, undergraduate degree or graduate degree granted.

　　所有获得过的学院学历、大学学位或硕士学位的公证件。

　　17. Original and one copy of detailed letter of invitation

　　specifying:

　　* position that applicant will occupy; * expected duration of employment;

　　* remuneration or funding provided by inviter (if any); * the nature of research to be undertaken;

　　* details of how applicant’s research will be supervised; * details regarding the project’s Canadian funding; * details of how and why the applicant was chosen.
