Job Responsibilities
The Yong Li Laboratory at Baylor College of Medicine is searching for highly motivated and talented post-doc candidates to work on Cancer Biology and Therapy. The positions will be involved in the development and application of molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches to understand the mechanisms of cancer predisposition, initiation, progression, and response to treatment. The Li Laboratory is particularly interested in Cancer Systems Biology, Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy, and Integrative Molecular Epidemiology and Population Science. The postdocs will function independently to investigate the underlying biology of cancer, develop novel modified T-cells or screen small compounds against lymphoma, myeloma, and solid tumors, and collaborate closely with computational biologists and clinicians. Minimum Qualifications
Education: Ph.D in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field.
Experience: None required.
Preferred Qualifications
• PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, or a related field.
• Extensive experiences in cancer-related experiments such as various molecular cellular assays and mouse models.
• A strong record of peer-reviewed publications in cancer.
• Knowledge of genomics and cancer immunology.
