Responsibilities
The Department of Radiation Oncology is seeking radiation oncologists interested in translational research. Appointment will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
Applicants must have an MD or MD/Ph.D. degree from an ACGME-approved medical school or equivalent and have completed a radiation oncology residency program from an approved institution. A record of excellent in clinical care accompanied by a strong publication record will be required. Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology and eligibility for Texas medical licensure are also required. Candidates should have an interest in initiating new translational projects and collaborative research with other departments. Applicants should have strong interpersonal skills and motivation for administering and teaching housestaff and medical students.
