　　Job Description

　　A Postdoctoral fellow position is available in Dr. Debeb’s laboratory, in the Department of Breast Medical Oncology at The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, to investigate the basic and translational biology of brain metastasis in aggressive breast cancers. We are looking for highly self-motivated candidates with strong publication record and demonstrated ability of independent experimental design and research. A solid background in molecular/ cellular oncology and oncogenic signaling pathways is highly desirable. Candidates with documented experience in performing in vivo experiments are preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Preference will be given to candidates who are about to graduate with PhD or MD/PhD degree, or have graduated within the last 12 months.

Postdocs are paid competitively based on NIH pay scale ($50,004/year + Fringe benefits) for a fresh Ph.D. candidate with increased pay based on additional postdoctoral experiences.
