　　Postdoctoral Fellow In Breast Medical Oncology

　　A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Chandra Bartholomeusz in the Department of Breast Medical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Bartholomeusz’s lab focuses on growth factor signaling pathways in breast cancer metastasis; the development of novel therapeutic agents using in vitro models and in vivo models of triple-negative breast cancer; and translational studies to bring pre-clinical agents into clinical strategies for patients with breast cancer.

　　Applicants must have a recent PhD or MD/PhD degree in biomedical science and at least two first-authored publications in internationally peer-reviewed scientific journals in one or more of the following areas: cancer biology, molecular biology, and cell biology. Experience in cell/tissue culture, basic techniques in molecular biology and cancer biology, immunofluorescence; and subcutaneous, tail vein and mammary fat pad injection of breast cancer cells in mice models is preferred. The candidate needs to be self-motivated, conscientious and a team player with a strong work ethic, have critical thinking abilities, good communication, organizational and writing skills.
