  Position

Two Postdoctoral Research Associate positions in immunology are available immediately in lab of Dr. Jay Evans in the Center for Translational Medicine at the University of Montana (Missoula MT). Work as part of a highly interactive multidisciplinary research team focused on the discovery and development of novel vaccine adjuvants and immunomodulators. Our multi-disciplinary team is made up of medicinal chemists, formulation scientists and immunologists working together toward one goal: to create new vaccines or improve existing vaccines through the discovery and development of novel adjuvants and delivery systems. Current projects include the development of novel vaccines targeting influenza virus, pertussis, pseudomonas, tuberculosis, allergy, and opioid addiction. Each of these projects include the goal of moving new vaccines or immunotherapies towards human clinical trials as well as exploring the immunological mechanisms of adjuvant activity and vaccine-mediated protection. Our team consists of former and current industry scientists with extensive translational research experience, making our lab a great place for anyone with an interest in translational immunology. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class multidisciplinary vaccine research team that is well funded and has strong connections in both academia and industry.
