　　Job Description

　　Postdoctoral Associate position(s) are available in the laboratory of Chandrasekhar Yallampalli, DVM, PhD and Kathleen Pennington, PhD to carry out funded research. Candidate will train in basic biochemistry and receptor biology as well as molecular biology techniques. Candidate will be responsible for several molecular interaction studies, knockdown of RAMPs (receptor activity modifying protein), and some of the vascular reactivity assays as well as NOS (nitric oxide synthase) activity.

　　·         Candidate should be experienced in several in vivo and animal surgery techniques, as well as molecular and biochemical assays, including quantitative RT-PCR, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, insitu hybridization and RIAs.

　　·         Candidate will work closely with the PI and Co-I in animal surgeries, in vivo experiments, blood and tissue collections and analysis, and various molecular and biochemical assays.
