　　Brief Summary of Job Duties

　　The postdoctoral researcher will be based at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center conducting sun-climate research with data analysis and/or modeling of solar irradiance measurements from past and current sensors in space, as well as with analysis of the Earth climate data records. They will work with Goddard scientists to achieve better understanding of how solar forcing interacts with Earth climate system, and impacts of solar forcing variability on present and publish the research findings and study results in conferences and peer-reviewed journals Earth climate.

　　Requested Minimum Qualifications

　　The successful Candidate must have a PhD in Physical Sciences from an accredited college or university with 0-3 years of postdoctoral research experience.

　　Other Preferences for Consideration

　　• Good understanding of Earth system science, solar irradiance measurements, as well as principles, theories, concepts and techniques in radioactive transfer in the atmosphere.

　　• Good communication skills and self-motivation.

　　• Knowledge of important science questions in sun-climate research.

　　• Demonstrated research experience with a record of peer-reviewed scientific publications.
