美国俄勒冈卫生科学大学免疫学/微生物学方向博士后招聘
As Oregon’s only academic health center, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is a locally- and nationally-recognized leader in healthcare, education, and advanced biomedical research. The synergy among these three enterprises leads to new cures, new standards of care, and a better understanding of the basic science that drives biomedical discovery. At OHSU, researchers are exploring new basic, translational, clinical, and applied research frontiers.
The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research in the lab of Dr. David Lewinsohn. His laboratory is focused on understanding the mechanisms by which the human immune system recognizes those cells infected with microbes such as M. Tuberculosis. The laboratory provides a rich environment spanning basic immune mechanisms underlying the cellular immunology and cellular biology of human infection with Mtb, to translation of these observations in TB endemic regions of the world. Dr. Lewinsohn is also part of the Oregon TB Research Lab Group that comprises multiple investigators at OHSU who study TB pathogenesis and host defense. This postdoc will work on a project characterizing novel MR1-restricted T cells that respond to infection with M. tuberculosis and other pathogens.
