　　The Department of Medicine - Division of Endocrinology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine has an excellent opportunity for a Postdoctoral Associate. Under the supervision of Dr. Alejandro Caicedo, this position will support investigations that focus on in situ analysis of functional endocrine, vascular and immune cell interactions during early postnatal development of the human pancreas. Candidate should have a strong scientific background in molecular physiology and demonstrated scientific problem solving ability and creativity. Experience in noninvasive in vivo imaging is highly desired. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and publication records, should have obtained funding as postdoctoral fellows, and must be able to work in a highly collaborative manner.

　　The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D., M.D., or other doctoral-level degree. Although experience is not required, one (1) year of relevant work related experience with evidence of tangible contributions to the dissemination of new research information is preferred. Strong scientific background in molecular physiology and demonstrated scientific problem solving ability and creativity. Experience in noninvasive in vivo imaging is highly desired. Candidates should also have excellent communication skills and publication records.
