Job Description

The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an opportunity for a Post Doctoral Associate to work in the laboratory of Dr. Marzenna Blonska at the University of Miami in beautiful, sunny Miami, Florida. This position will participate in a multi-disciplinary research program exploring the molecular mechanisms involved in the lymphoma interaction with microenvironment and studying the oncogenic signaling pathways that drive lymphomagenesis.

The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows: Ph.D. as well as a strong background in one or more of the following areas: molecular/cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, or cancer genetics. Experience in mouse models, optical imaging techniques, computational analysis or CRISPR/Cas systems is highly desirable. Qualified candidates are expected to work independently and as part of a team, be self-motivated, have critical thinking skills and good communication skills, both oral and written.
