  Monell Chemical Senses Center

  A Postdoctoral position is currently available for research in the molecular mechanisms of taste stem cells and the signaling transduction of intestinal “taste-like” tuft cells (see recent representative publications) in the Jiang laboratory at the Monell Chemical Senses Center in Philadelphia. Candidates with a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular biology, genetics, neuroscience, immunology, physiology or a related field are preferred. Experience with molecular biology and small animal surgery techniques is desired but not mandatory. A background in chemosensory research is not required. Compensation is in accordance with NIH stipend standards. This position is supported by NIH and industry grants.
