摘要:

The Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN) aims at bringing Switzerland at the forefront of personalized health research. One of the big SPHN driver projects runs at the Center for Precision Medicine Bern (CPMB). The CPMB is a technology hub and multi-disciplinary network between the Faculties of the University of Bern and the Inselspital (Bern University Hospital) to foster individualized health care.

Within the Department for BioMedical Research (DBMR), a research department of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bern, the Precision Oncology research group of Prof. Dr. Mark A. Rubin (http://www.rubinlab.unibe.ch) focuses on understanding the functional genomics of cancer disease progression in the setting of individualized therapies. Defining tumour plasticity as a mechanism of therapy resistance is a major focus of the current research.
